A River Runs Through It

Our region is famous for the Umpqua Rivers that flow through our valleys.  We offer world class fly fishing, magnificent waterfalls, and supreme hiking and biking.

And now three wine decks on which to enjoy both our wine and the water.  No where else in this region can the public relax and take in the calming affects of the various branches of the Umpqua River than at three local wineries.

All three branches of the Umpqua are represented starting with Pyrenees North Vineyard (formally the Juliana Vineyard) on the Main Umpqua, just north of the confluence of the North and South Umpqua Rivers.  This large and active deck offers both wine tasting and meals on certain evenings.

Then came Pyrenees Vineyard (off Exit 112) on the South Umpqua River.  From their deck you can watch the turtles sunbathing along the river while you sip the fine wine they offer.

The most recent addition to our local decks is Glaser Vineyard on the North Umpqua River.  They are located just around the bend from Pyrenees North.  Here you can enjoy a glass of their Baco Nior while reveling in the peaceful surroundings.

You owe it to yourself to visit all these decks and discover what makes the Umpqua Valley AVA a world class wine region.
