In the current culture of lies, lies, lies, Forest Grove stands out as a master.  The city continues to foster it's Pinot lie to the unknowing public.  The only motivation is to monetize the city with it's false claim that they are the birthplace of pinot noir in Oregon.

The well-know author on the subject of Pinot Noir, The Prince of Pinot, adds his voice to the clamor over the lie.  HIs article is no casual glance at the issue.  Will it rattle the city fathers of forest Grove to remove the claim?  Probably not. As they have told me: "We are comfortable" with our lie!!
