Where?

I caught a minute of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" (I think that's the show?) and the question was: "What state borders California to the North?" The adult had to ask the 5th grader, who had it right! And there we are Wine World!

Americans need to play a lot of catch up to get an overall perspective on the wine world. There is so much history of the grape to understand. But you should know that Oregon produces great wine and where the heck the State is!!

So today's lesson is: "This is a map of Douglas County Oregon, home of the Umpqua Valley AVA". That's enough for today. You did a good job, now go have a glass of "Bull's Blood" from Palotai.
